Since 1977, Hill Country Senior Center has provided a welcoming place for seniors to enjoy meals, friendships, and enriching activities. We offer daily lunches, wellness programs, educational workshops, and volunteer opportunities.
As a nonprofit, we rely on donations from individuals and businesses to continue promoting the well-being of seniors throughout the Hill Country community.
Founded in 1977, Hill Country Senior Center began as a small gathering space created by local community members. Today, it has grown into a thriving hub, offering meals, wellness programs, classes, and social activities to hundreds of seniors each year — all while staying true to its mission of helping older adults connect, thrive, and live fulfilling lives.
Our mission at Hill Country Senior Center is to create an inclusive community where seniors gather to enjoy nutritious meals, lasting friendships, and meaningful fellowship. We are committed to providing opportunities for socialization, learning, volunteering, and recreational engagement that support the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of every individual we serve.
Because we are all aging, our mission impacts everyone.

This has been such a joy to be able to meet with friends at the senior center. I can bring sewing, crafts, or paperwork here while having a pleasant atmosphere. Many of us dine with old friends while making new friends…we exchange many stories.

Please come check out the Senior Center! It isn’t just “older” folks sitting around…although you can do that if you want. The folks here are all so friendly, love to laugh, try new things, be yourself and just have fun! I have met so many nice people.

This has become a place where we feel free to enjoy ourselves with others. There has been so much to enjoy, art, exercise, line dancing and numerous other crafts. Thank you Karyn for all the extra energy you put into these projects for all of us.
